Condition is good but not excellent. Original!  Missing back cover.  This and one other catalog dated 1911 for Rainier came to me after an old friend died at age 87 in 2020 from natural causes not covid.  I was able to buy these catalogs from the family.
Many years ago when my friend was a well-connected engineer at Cadillac, he found out that the A.M.A. in Detroit was de-assessioning some very early literature and bought some of it.  This is one of those catalogs.  He had written a full page of the history of Rainier and even though this catalog says the company was based in New York City, the 1911 catalog I'm offering was based by then in Saginaw Michigan and was part of GM... but not much longer.
My Standard Catalog of American Cars 1805-1942 says of Rainier: "from 1905-07 the company was in Flushing NY.  From 1908-1911, it's final year, it was based in Saginaw.  In 1906 they built a Model A and a Model B.  In May 1908 GM acquired the stock after it had been moved to Saginaw.  General Motors created the Marquette Motor Company to operate the factory, which was under the direct management of the Buick Motor Company.  By 1912 the Rainier was superceded by the Marquette."  The only year the Standard Catalog gave production numbers was for 1908; 300 Rainiers built.
Footnote: The Stahl's Museum in Chesterfield Michigan has a fully restored Rainier on the floor to be viewed, and it is a truly beautiful car.  See their website.
S&H in the USA is FREE, shipped in a stiff mailer and including insurance.
NOTE: I notice lately that when a customer makes multiple orders from my store, Ebay stacks up all the individual postage costs and customers are having to pay it.  So I am combining all those orders and I have made a practice of refunding all that extra postage back to the customer's Paypal account and doing it 3 times a week.
