Beaded Gourd Rattle
The bell gourd is about 10
inches in circumference.  The 4 3/4 inch tip is beaded to compliment the handle in Yellow, red, black and sea foam
.
The tip is finished using natural white horse hair.
The designed turned handle is about 8 3/8 inches long, finished with a light coat of gloss urethane and 2 1/2 " beaded area. The 13o cut and opaque bead colors include
black, light blue, chestnut, red, orange, yellow and white
.
The end of the handle features
12 hand twisted white buckskin 6 1/4 inch fringes.
The overall length of the gourd rattle is about 11 1/2 inches excluding the fringes and tip. The beaded tip comes in a protective plastic tube.
This is a very
nice gourd rattle crafted by Native American Navajo artisan Harry Nez
.  It is arena ready and would make an outstanding easily mailable gift or give away item.
