Native American Indian Eagle Claw & Ball carved wood rattle Authentic -not repro

Description

Gorgeous hand carved from one piece of wood claw and ball rattle. The ball moves freely within the claw and makes a beautiful sound.
Family provenance available for the piece. Cherokee Native American origin.
Measures 16" long and across the claw nearly 3"
Artist is unknown and it is not marked. This piece has been in the family for several decades.
Other Cherokee carvings were with this piece (Crowe & Welch) so we believe it to also be Cherokee.
