You are bidding on a new-old-stock bare Syquest 88MB removable cartridge drive and ten used disk cartridges.
This vintage Syquest 88MB drive is new-old-stock.  It had never been out of the box until I tested and photographed it for this listing.  Drive was tested to work with a Macintosh SE/30 (see photo 2) and appears to be working properly.  Drive comes with ten used 88MB disk cartridges, all of which have been reformatted and tested OK.  I was able to format disks, write files, and read files.  On my Mac no special software was required.  PC's might require drivers.  The Mac SE/30 shown in photo 2 is not included in this auction.
Syquest drives are a good way to add additional storage to a vintage Mac or PC.  At 88MB per cartridge they provide easy off-line storage for files, programs, or games.  They also make a good choice for back-ups.  This drive fits a 5.25" 1/2 height bay in either a computer or an external SCSI enclosure.
