ADJUSTING the New Bobbin Case, the bobbin case is pre-adjusted from the factory and should be ready to go, HOWEVER there is always the possibility it will need to be balanced with your particular machine. We will included with your bobbin case instructions on “How to Balance the Tension “. This covers the adjusting of the upper and lower tension to achieve a balanced stitch which will also allow you to adjust the tension for various fabric types and weight.
The 15 class bobbin case listed here is for “Oscillating Hook system”, which basically means the hook makes a 1/2 turn only. Turn the hand wheel slowly by hand and notice the movement of the hook , it should go in a back and forth movement. See photo above.
